Invigorate!

The Fundo word of the week is invigorate!

The definition of invigorate is:

to make one feel strong, healthy, and full of energy.

Invigoration sounds helpful for us all, right? We as people of all ages and walks of life, can get slowed down in our daily lives. Whether physically, mentally, or emotionally, we can all get tired. It’s important that we remember to take breaks, and nurture yourself.

1. Find the right environment

Take care to place yourself in environments that invigorate you. Take mental and even written notes to monitor how places you visit make you feel. For example, maybe your favorite get makes you feel at peace, able to hear your thoughts, and more productive.

2. Take a daily walk

Having a routine walk in a scenic, outdoor space can be the invigoration you need. Research has shown that the benefits of taking daily walks can include boosting your creativity, and improving your mood and your health.

3. Read a good book/Listen to good music.

Maybe listening to a good book or album during daily commute recharges you. Find a book or playlist with an author, topic, or artist that interests you, and can give you something to look forward to. From there, you're sure to be introduced to more literature or music that matches and enhances your energy.

4. Balance your diet

Could it be adding the right energy-enhances fruits, into your daily regimen? Researching the effects of your foods, and balancing your diet with the right foods can make a world of difference in your health and level of energy. Here is a list of energy boosting fruits and vegetables.

Combining a little of all the above is what's needed to pour energy back into your life. It's important to find that perfect balance and peace.

Pay attention to your environment, what you consume, and find the right energy in your peers. What do you need to change to make life more invigorating for you?

What can be really invigorating for me is reorganizing my workspace once in a while. It opens up a whole new path of creative space.
